Where It started

Jack’s Bar wanted posters that didn’t look like typical bar promos. No generic cocktails, no stock-photo smiles. The idea was simple: if the place is fun, the visuals should feel the same. Loud, cheeky, and with a hint of mountain-party chaos.

What I wanted to build

Each poster became a tiny world of its own. Instead of slapping text onto a background, I treated them like short animated moments — frozen in mid-laugh. Cocktails morphing into alpine peaks, hourglasses dripping with booze, oversized type elbowing its way into the frame. The goal was to make people grin before they even ordered a drink.

What I learned along the way

I leaned into bold color gradients, chunky shapes, and that playful, slightly surreal Alpine vibe the client loved. The scenes are exaggerated on purpose — big silhouettes, big energy, zero subtlety. Everything had to feel like the mood of the bar on a Friday night, just captured on paper.

What the work changed

The posters didn’t just advertise offers. They became part of the atmosphere. Guests stopped to take photos, the staff used them as talking points, and the walls suddenly felt more alive. Exactly what we wanted: visuals that don’t blend in, but turn up the volume the moment you walk in.
